2011 Replacement Parts




What Is Covered 

Any replacement part covered by this warranty that is defective in material or workmanship under normal use will be repaired or replaced by Honda. If a Honda dealer originally installed the replacement part, a Honda dealer will do the repair or replacement. Honda covers the cost of the replacement part, and the labor to install it. If someone other than a Honda dealer installed the replacement part, the cost to repair or replace the part is covered by Honda, but the installation cost is not covered. Parts replaced under this warranty become the property of Honda. If a replacement part covered by this warranty should fail, Honda makes the final decision whether to repair or replace the part. 

What Is Not Covered 

 This limited warranty does not cover: Claims that do not include documented proof of purchase date, repair date, and vehicle mileage at the time of installation Replacement parts installed under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, or those covered by other warranties Other parts not included as part of the replacement parts assembly originally sold to you Failure of a replacement part due to any of these conditions: Abuse, misuse, damage caused by an accident or collision, or acts of God, nature, or civil unrest Improper installation, improper maintenance, or lack of scheduled maintenance Unauthorized disassembly Installation on a vehicle not designed or approved to accept the replacement part Modification of the vehicle, or installation of parts or accessories not authorized by Honda Installation of any part that may affect the replacement part, that is not equal to the original specification in quality of materials and workmanship Low fluid levels, or use of fluids other than those specified by Honda or their equivalent Use of the vehicle in a competition or racing event Installation on a vehicle with an altered or disabled odometer where the actual mileage cannot be determined Installation on a vehicle registered or normally driven outside the United States Any incidental expenses or inconveniences you may suffer due to the loss of use of your vehicle How to Get Warranty Service Take your vehicle to a Honda dealer during their normal service hours, and present proof of purchase, including the repair date and vehicle mileage at the time of installation (if applicable). If your vehicle cannot be driven, call the Honda dealer nearest to you for towing assistance. If failure of the remanufactured part is covered by this warranty, you do not have to pay for towing to the nearest Honda dealer. Emergency Repairs Honda recognizes that your vehicle could develop a serious problem needing immediate repair at a facility other than a Honda dealer. Honda will reimburse you for the repair if all of these conditions are present: The repair would normally be covered by this warranty. All Honda dealers within 50 miles of the breakdown were closed at the time, or there were no Honda dealers within 50 miles. The vehicle was immobile, or attempting to drive the vehicle would cause further damage or be unsafe. For reimbursement, go to any Honda dealer. You must show the replaced part(s) and a copy of the paid receipt. The dealer will reimburse you for the part(s) at the current manufacturer’s suggested retail price, and you will be reimbursed for labor at a geographically appropriate labor rate for Honda’s recommended time allowance. Customer Satisfaction Your complete satisfaction with your Honda automobile is our main goal. All Honda dealer personnel are thoroughly trained to provide the best service for your vehicle. If you are not satisfied with any maintenance or repair work done by a Honda dealer, follow these steps: 1. Talk over your concerns with the dealer’s management, such as the service manager or the general manager. In most cases, a satisfactory solution is found at this step. 2. We recognize that, on some occasions, a customer will not be totally satisfied with a dealer’s decision or actions in Step 1.
